Self Harm
I really want to do a project on self harm.
I want to to analyse the correlation between self image, fashion photography and self harm. And when I say self harm, I dont just mean cutting, I mean anything from starving yourself, waxing, bleaching, burning our skin to tan, all that jazz.
I want to exaggerate what people do to themselves because of what the advertising industry has said they must...

I’m so bored of all these images I have to see everyday. So many people’s work looks the same. Everyone is inspired by eachother. It’s how I feel I am being bent to doing in this course. We are so pushed towards looking at other people’s work. If I approach a lecturer with an idea;
“Why dont you look at at blah blah’s work to see how they did it?”
NO!...

Hyper Japan
I’m really excited to be photographing at Hyper Japan again this year, and I’m so chuffed for them that they’re doing it in February as well!

Androgynous Models
I have a few, but I need more. I get people interested then they never reply when I follow it up. These images will be exhibited at a very well known gallery in central London - you get to keep the images yourself and you get the overall model experience at a studio with a make up artist and a MUA. Oh and I’ll cover travel expenses.

Gothic Lolita Wigs
Had a shoot for Gothic Lolita Wigs today with Pixie_late
My gosh what a palava. Completely my fault apart from the damn sync lead. I’d buy my own if I didnt only have a few months left at uni.
I would have been screwed if my boyfriend wasn’t helping me out. I hope he knows how appreciative I am.
And Pixie_late was perfect which made the situation better. Got some lovely shots, only...

Tattooed/Pierced Project
So back to uni! I had an epiphany last night while I was lying in bed panicking about the amount of work I have to do and missing my mum’s new kitten - and I realised that I was panicking for no fecking reason because I am enjoying what I am doing and I love it and not only that - I’m alright at it.
